Shocking! Kapil Sharma Might Face Upto 3 Years In Jail

Comedian Kapil Sharma has put himself in major trouble after raising the voice against corruption. A couple of days ago, Kapil alleged that BMC officer demanded Rs 5 lakh bribe from him for his office construction in Mumbai. The comedian also tagged PM Narendra Modi in his tweet asking, “Kaha hai acche din?” This rose to controversy with many political parties protesting against Kapil Sharma’s house and asked him to name the person who demanded the bribe from him. Not only this, MNS party also threatened Kapil that until he won’t reveal the name; the shooting of his weekend show will be in trouble.

Well, Kapil Sharma’s one tweet has landed him into a controversy and might also face upto 3 years jail. An FIR has been filed against Kapil for unauthorized work on his 9th-floor flat in the Goregaon building – DLH Enclave. Besides Kapil Sharma, the FIR also names actor Irrfan Khan and other three owners of the flats in the same building. Conviction under the section invites a jail term varying from one month to three years, and a fine of Rs 2,000-5,000.

According to reports, BMC has found illegal construction in 15 flats of the Goregaon building. Unauthorized construction has been carried out on the 9th floor of the building, where Kapil Sharma too has a flat. While Irrfan Khan owns a flat on the fifth floor of the building.

Reportedly, earlier, BMC had issued a notice to Kapil on June 23 for not constructing the flat according to the original plan. The BMC had issued the second notice to Kapil Sharma after the actor did not follow the notice of illegal construction.
