Rishi Kapoor is always known for following the policy of being outloud and open about whatever he feels and thinks.
And this attitude reflects pretty much in his autobiography, “Khullam Khulla: Rishi Kapoor Uncensored”. From revealing about his meeting with Dawood Ibrahim in Dubai to being open about almost being beaten up by one of his contemporaries. Rishi Kapoor is not the one who distort facts.
Well! Back when Rishi Kapoor was unmarried, a scorned Sanjay Dutt was so angry that he had gone to the actor’s home to beat him up. It all had happened over Tina Munim (Ambani). One of the chapters of the book have reflected on the fist fight that almost happened between him and Sanjay Dutt. This was over Tina Munim who had an affair with Sanjay Dutt and he thought Rishi Kapoor too was involved with her.

The angry Dutt back then took friend Gulshan Grover to accompany him to the Kapoor house only to get the things sorted and cleared. He later found that there were misunderstandings and that the alleged partner was actually in love with now wife Neetu Singh.
When Gulshan Grover was asked about this, he quoted, “Sanjay and I were like brothers so one day he told me, ‘We have to go to Chintu’s house to beat him up. We went to do that but his fiancée Neetu ji managed to convince us that Chintu was not having an affair so we left”.
Interestingly, Rishi Kapoor’s son Ranbir Kapoor is playing Sanjay Dutt in Sanjay’s biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani. And surprisingly, he admires the actor and even Dutt likes Ranbir a lot.
When Gulshan Grover was asked about his relationship with Sanjay Dutt, he said, “Though we are in touch, it’s not the same anymore. I adore Chintu and keep meeting him. But with Sanju the problem is I would keep giving him correct advice and he does not like that so he creates situations where he can avoid those very people who give him good advice (laughs)”.
