As requested by her fans, Shraddha Kapoor sang the song Galliyan from Ek Villain. This number is special since Shraddha Kapoor has for the first time lent her voice for this. The unplugged version is soulful and has certain calmness to it. The song composed by Mithoon has amazing lyrics and has a perfect blend of emotions.
Soon after the recording the song, Shraddha Kapoor requested a rough cut of the track so she could get her grandpa’s feedback. Also, Shraddha had not informed her grandpa beforehand that she would be lending her voice to a song, since she wanted an honest opinion from him. Sharaddha Kapoor‘s mother, Shivangi Kolhapuri happens to be the niece of Lata Mangeshkar.
Shraddha Kapoor, as a child, had taken her music lessons as she was very fond of singing and is also gifted with a beautiful voice.
“I am really keen to start my music riyaz once again. Playing Arohi only reminded me how much I missed doing it.” informed Shraddha Kapoor in her interactions with her fans.
Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor in the leading roles along with Ritesh Deshmukh the film is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures. Siddharth Malhotra dons the rugged look for the first time in this film.
Interestingly the film also has Kamaal R Khan in a cameo and actress Prachi Desai in an item song.
