Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya Lashes Out At Salman Khan On Supporting Pakistani Artists!

On Thursday, the Indian motion picture producers’ association (IMPPA) banned Pakistani actors and technicians from working in Bollywood. The big decision was taken after political party, MNS demanded Pakistani actors to leave the country in 48 hours after the Uri terror attack. Actors including Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Ali Zafar were asked to leave the country in the given time or they will be pushed out.

Yesterday, at an event in Delhi, Salman Khan was asked to express his views on the same. The actor said “they were terrorists, these are artistes. Two different issues.” When asked to elaborate, Mr. Khan said, “Are these artistes terrorists? They come here on a visa, who gives them that visa? Our government gives them visas.”

Salman Khan’s this statement left many Indians angry. Many took to twitter and slammed the actor for speaking in favour of Pakistani artistes. MNS chief Raj Thackeray too reacted saying, “What we need to understand is that the soldiers who die defending our borders, it’s not that they have some personal enmity with Pakistan. And the bullets that hit them aren’t ‘filmi’ bullets. They’re real, unlike the ones Salman faces in his movies.”

Since day one of this protest, singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya has been very vocal about his hatred of allowing Pakistani actors to work in India. Soon after Salman made his statement on the same issue, Abhijeet took to twitter and slammed Salman Khan saying,#FawadKhan shows true patriotism towards his country Pakistan whilst Bollywood, @BeingSalmanKhan is ashamed to show loyalty to India.. #mns
