MUMBAI: Bollywood’s resident ‘Dabangg’ girl, Sonakshi Sinha, has welcomed this New Year with a huge smile… Chulbul Pandey’s on-screen wife Rajjo, is all set for an image makeover this 2013.
Sonakshi has taken her fearless, charitable role to heart, quite literally. How else would one explain why she began the new year on such a positive note. Sonakshi came out in full support of the ‘Smile’ foundation, which spreads awareness for children’s health and education, especially among the underprivileged.
Looking uber chic and effortlessly stylish in western semi-formals: a horizontal striped tee shirt and high-waisted navy blue satin trousers, Sonakshi wowed us this time round, with her superb sartorial choice for the new year.
She was seen interacting with the children at the ‘Smile’ event, and even took time to cut the cake she was presented with, and feed the little ones. A face full of aesthetically done, subtle make-up and she certainly got our vote for her very stylish, very much needed makeover.
Accompanying the lovely lass at this charitable event was Shatrughan ‘Shotgun’ Sinha’s beautiful wife, and Sonakshi’s mother Poonam Sinha. Clad in a traditional brown sari and a designer handbag, Poonam looked the epitome of grace and class, and the mother-daughter duo really shone at the event.
Of course, if the event in question is such a wonderful endeavour, like that of promoting child welfare through better health and education, we are sure Bollywood will not be far behind in publicising such a noble cause.
Looks like Sonakshi has been taking her cues from her on-screen husband Salman Khan’s off-screen magnanimity and charity. For she too is extremely keen to be known as Bollywood’s female ‘Tiger’, and is keen to help out in any and every way she possibly can.
