The film Any Body Can Dance 2 is already on the audience’s minds. The newly unveiled song of the film Chunar is an emotionally driven track with its share of powerful beats. The song in the film is depicting Suresh’s (played by Varun Dhawan) heartfelt feelings to his mother who is shown as a classical dance artist. Surprisingly, actor Varun Dhawan in real life too has dedicated this song to his mother.
Initiating with a heartbreaking scene the song goes on to become sentimental in its own charm. With undertones of flashbacks showcasing the bond of a mother and a son the song takes you on a stroll to your childhood.
Varun Dhawan’s soulful performance is a treat to the eyes, with clear and sharp movements Varun makes an excellent attempt to portray his feelings for his mom. Breaking from the soft tunes the track suddenly transmits to powerful and fast beats. Varun’s dance skills are successful in conveying the emotions of the song.
Crisp wordings and heart touching expressions make this song a beautiful melody. Varun Dhawan’s teary eyes surely make us feel that he is well bound by his character.
The track is unique in itself as it does not follow one particular melody; the song has alternate high and low tunes which make it all the more interesting and feeling full.
The previous tracks of ABCD 2 are all high on energy at some point but this song Chunar gives the movie album its share of emotion filled sequence. The song is hummable and is also a treat to the ears because of its solace like lyrics. Directed by Remo D’Souza starring Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Prabhudeva and Lauren Gottlieb in key roles, the movie is all set to hit the theaters on June 19.
