MUMBAI: The vivacious Bollywood beauty Rani Mukerji is back in action in B’town, and was spotted at the MARIA DURAN Lectureship Award by the International Society of Dermatology yesterday.
Looking different in a nerdy chic avatar, Rani chose to dress down at Dr Rekha Sheth’s event, wearing a pair of black dungarees and a black singlet, with big oversized reading glasses perched atop her dainty nose.
The sexy Bong beauty Rani Mukerji was seen mingling with Dr Rekha, and Bollywood personalities like Genelia Deshmukh, Rahul Bose and designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
The event was organised to felicitate Dr Rekha, whose expertise has been honoured by the International Society of Dermatology, with the MARIA DURAN lectureship award.
Genelia Deshmukh, ever the dermatologist’s dream with her flawless skin, came in to the cocktail evening minus her husband Ritesh, and was seen in a billowing white blouse and shamrock green pants. She was spotted sharing a light moment with Rahul Bose, Abu and Sandeep.
Other guests at the intimate cocktail party included Sunita Kapoor , Schauna Chauhan, Salpi and Vishal Gandhi, Neelam Ronit Roy and Prerna Sharman Joshi.
And if all goes well, we might just get to see Rani Mukerji in another Sanjay Leela Bhansali production soon. Said the bubbly actress, “”I first worked with him (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) in ‘Black’. I am happy to be a part of that film. He has promised me that he will make more films with me.”
