MUMBAI: Sanjay Dutt was spotted racing through the shoot of policegiri, in Mumbai on Thursday.

Post the press conference he hosted outside his residence, Imperial Heights in Bandra, the troubled star was seen diligently honouring his commitment to his producers by shooting the balance portion of their films, before surrendering on 18 April.

Dutt, as everyone knows, has been convicted for a sentence of five years by the Supreme Court, for his involvement and illegal possession of arms in the 1993 Mumbai blasts fiasco.

Looking disturbed and troubled, Sanjay Dutt nevertheless put in all his energies into focusing on the shoot at hand. Dressed in a sober maroon shirt and jeans, the macho star looked crestfallen between takes, and while meeting with his fans and well-wishers outside his vanity van.

Sanjay Dutt was seen on TV yesterday, breaking down in front of the media, while addressing questions on his future.

Dutt had said that he is not going to seek pardon, and will honour the Supreme Court’s decision and surrender himself on the stipulated date. Post which he broke down in the arms of his sister, and was seen weeping copiously.

Meanwhile, many influential people from the industry are reportedly rallying around the fallen star, and attempting to get his sentence reduced by asking for an appeal. They are citing his good conduct and charity work over the years, as a point to press for clemency.
