Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Bejoy Nambiar– when such names are associated with a film, professionalism to the highest level is expected. This is what happened when it came to finalizing a wheel chair for Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Wazir’.
Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra had sent across 43 different types of wheelchair to Amitabh Bachchan’s residence over a span of 4 months, to zero in on a wheelchair.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra made Sr.Bachchan try out various types of wheelchairs. In fact, he used to ask Mr. Bachchan to operate the wheelchair himself and used to watch its movements carefully to finalise the wheel chair. Initially, Amitabh Bachchan felt that it would be a normal wheel Chair and will be zeroed in quickly, but seeing Vidhu’s perseverance towards such minute detailing it took almost 4 months to fix upon a wheelchair, which had Mr.Bachchan impressed.
