We would want to start by acknowledging how fortunate our industry is to have true gems like Sharvari, who relentlessly invest their time in skill development and self-improvement. These abilities are not limited to those demanded by the industry, but also others!
She began her career as an assistant director on films such as Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Bajirao Mastani, and Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety. She then made her acting debut in Amazon Prime Video’s web series The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye (2020) and Yash Raj Films’ Bunty Aur Babli 2, released in 2022.
Although Sharvari is not from the industry, she has achieved success and is constantly working to develop her abilities. For the past two years, Babli 2 has been learning the keyboard and baking, and her current passion involves dance and more dance. (Of course, we cannot get her sensational moves from “Lubju” out of our heads!)
Sharvari has converted a small room in her house into a dance studio where she practises the two different dance forms she has been learning every alternative day. Intriguingly, the two different dance forms, i.e., Kathak and Freestyle Hip Hop are of completely different backgrounds as one is Indian classical and another is a western dance form. In a nutshell, Sharvari is preparing herself to mesmerise us with her moves, again!
“I can’t wait to have my own iconic Bollywood dance numbers one day. That’s my end goal.”, says the rising star. The actress uses Instagram to connect with some of India’s most talented dancers with the intention of doing workshops with them. It seems like there is nothing to stop Babli (No.2) from adding a hit Bollywood dance number. Her followers, like the artist, can’t wait to witness her dazzling moves again.
