Varun Dhawan is riding high on his career graph in Bollywood since his debut in Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’. He has already done a whole array of films, from romantic comedy to revenge seeking drama to the latest being a funny-cop in ‘Dishoom’. He awaits the release of his latest film, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, where is re-associating with his first co-star Alia Bhatt and first director, Karan Johar.
Recently, while interviewing with a leading daily, he was asked about his plans to settle down. Varun has been always explicit about the fact that he wishes to get married and have kids as he loves babies. But he thinks among his peers Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra, Ranveer Singh is probably the one to get married first among them.
And what makes him say that? He has a super interesting thought process behind it. He said, “I think maybe Ranveer will settle down the fastest. I guess the naughtiest ones always go first.”

Also, speaking about his work, he rightly pointed out that probably, in his generation, he is the only one doing out and out comedies which can be termed as slapstick. He said, “Frankly, I sometimes feel I am the only person who is doing something new. Tell me, who else is doing comedy? Akshay Kumar is the only actor, who is actually doing comedy today. I don’t think we can think of one young actor who is doing it. I am not saying that is good or bad, they are doing great things that they think is right and I am drawn to the kind of films I like doing. But making people laugh is a gift and getting it right is tough. Yes, I am very nervous about Judwaa 2 as there’s so much hype around it already. Somewhere, there’s a tapori hidden in me. I have certain characteristics and that’s probably because of the films that I grew up watching.”
After all he is the son of David Dhawan, the man behind multiple Govinda movies!
Badrinath Ki Dulhania is slated to release on March 10.
