Veteran and legendary actor Dilip Kumar was admitted to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday night. As per sources, he had fever and a swelling in his right leg.
After his complaining, he was immediately rushed to the hospital in Bandra in the morning hours.
When wife Saira Banu was asked about her husband’s health, she told the media that he had a swelling in his right leg and so they got it investigated properly. She also told the media that her husband undergoes routine check up every few months and even that is being done well.
Saira said that Dilip Kumar is absolutely fine and there is nothing to worry. Dilip Kumar also underwent a blood test which gave positive results.
Dilip Kumar will be turning 94 on December 11 and she hopes that he returns home by then.
The actor was earlier rushed to the hospital on April 15, while suffering from Pneumonia. Back then, he had trouble breathing and his white blood cells were shot up. Fortunately, he recovered quickly within just two days. His wife had then confirmed about his fit and fine condition.
The legendary actor was last seen on screen in the film Qila in 1998. He has been awarded by Padma Bhushan in 2015 and 1991.
The couple Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar just completed their 50 years of marriage this year on October 10.
