He recently celebrated a very quiet 81st birthday earlier this month. The veteran actor wasn’t keep well since a few days. Upon examination, it was found that the actor has a serious case of gastroenteritis.
Dharmendra, was admitted into Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai on Monday. He was admitted only yesterday by his family after he experienced pain and general uneasiness.
The Phool Aur Pathar actor was suffering from gastroenteritis, an intestinal infection marked by diarrhea, cramps, nausea, vomiting and fever. He was immediately put on antibiotic treatment and his condition stabilized thereafter, the doctors said.
He is being treated by Dr. Vishesh Agrawal of Nanavati Hospital, who states, “Dharmendraji was brought to the hospital on Monday as he was experiencing uneasiness and is being treated for Gastric upset. We are observing him, and he is responding to treatment well and should be discharged in a couple of days.”
