Vinod Khanna’s wife Kavita Khanna lashes out after her husband’s picture from the hospital goes viral on social media.
Ailing Vinod Khanna’s picture with his wife and son from the hospital had left everyone sad. Everyone was shocked to see Khanna looking so frail in the picture that had gone viral on social media. Few days after the picture was leaked online, Khanna’s wife Kavita Khanna has requested media and everyone else to stop posting or sharing her husband’s pictures on the internet.
“STOP POSTING VINOD KHANNA’S PHOTOS. Please don’t bother him. HE’S OUR HERO. LET HIM BE,” Kavita posted on her Facebook page.
Khanna’s son Rahul had earlier released a statement over his father’s health status. He said, “Dad was hospitalised on Friday for severe dehydration. The situation was quickly brought under control, he’s doing much better and the doctors are looking to discharge him soon. Our family is most grateful for the extraordinary care he’s been receiving at the hospital and we are touched by all the good wishes pouring in.”
The hospital where the actor has been admitted also issued a statement saying, “The actor was admitted to Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital on Friday with severe dehydration. He is under the care of our doctors and has responded positively to the treatment and is now stable. His family thanks his well-wishers for the good wishes and requests to respect their privacy.”
Ever since Vinod Khanna has been admitted to the hospital, sorts of reports about his health are doing rounds on the Internet. After the hospital authorities responded to the actor’s health, now son Akshaye Khanna has spoken up on father’s current health status. The Dil Chahata Hai actor opened up about his father’s health and stated that he is doing better.
