Recently, music composer Vishal Dadlani had made a comment on guru Tarun Sagar. He even mocked him for giving a speech in Haryana Assembly. His comments had hurt Jain community and a case was registered against him in Delhi’s Shahdara police station by the Jain members. Well, the controversy died after few days but it seems, Vishal Dadlani surely had some regrets. After he apologized on Twitter and then in an open letter for his tweets, Vishal Dadlani personally met the spiritual leader at his ashram in Chandigarh on Wednesday to deliver his apology.
Post his meet, Dadlani said that he is glad that the Jain Guru Tarun Sagar has accepted his apology and that what he tweeted was unnecessary.
“Guruji accepted my apology, he has forgiven me and I think we’ve also developed a bond of friendship,” the singer-composer told reporters after the meeting.
“I have realised a lot about myself in the last 10 days. I have come here as my eyes have been opened,” he said.
On August 26, Dadlani had described Sagar’s speech in the assembly as “monkery” and added that the monk “has no clothes on”, which left Jain community furious. He had later deleted his tweets and apologised but he had received instance backlash till then.
