Everest
Based on the real life events of the Mount Everest Disaster that occurred in 1996, and adapted from the non-fiction book ‘Into Thin Air: A Personal Account of the Mt. Everest Disaster’ penned by John Krakauer. The film Everest will take us through the experience of two expedition groups that tried to reach the peak of Mount Everest.
Starring actors Jason Clarke from ‘Zero Dark Thirty’, Josh Brolin of ‘Hollowman’, Oscar winner John Hawkes, Robin Wright, Emily Watson, Keira Knightley from the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Sam Worthington of ‘Avatar’ and Jake Gyllenhaal in pivotal roles. Everest shows the journey of the groups led by Scott Fischer (Jake) and Rob Hall (Jason). Directed by Baltasar Kormakur the film is being presented by Universal Pictures. The film is scheduled to release in India on September 18, 2015.
