While there are talks about Shah Rukh not attending the party because of another guest Priyanka Chopra, it would be unfair to forget the fact that Shah Rukh was not in Mumbai since he had to attend his convocation ceremony at the Maulana Azad National Urdu University where the King Khan, Shah Rukh, was conferred the honoris causa (doctor of letters) by the Chancellor Zafar Sareshwala for Shah Rukh’s contribution to the Urdu Language in his films.
It is evident as to how difficult it would have been for Shah Rukh to attend the party and even his friend Salman Khan would understand that.
