Watch: Here’s How John Abraham Reacted Over Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Controversy

The on-going debate about banning Pakistani artistes in India has become a talking point. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) had taken out their rage over the next week’s release Ae Dil Hai Mushkil as it features Pakistani artist Fawad Khan in it. The ban on Pakistani artistes divided Bollywood into two parts where many supported the film and many are against the Pakistani talent featuring in the film. John Abraham was recently asked his views about the issue.

John Abraham who was present at the Rang Laal song launch was asked his take on banning Pakistani artistes and the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil controversy. The actor said, “I think enough is spoken about it, you just expect us to join in and give you one more comment, I think the song [Laal Rang] says it all. We are very clear in this song and that’s why we are sitting in front of you. This reflects the way we feel, I always say this – my country comes first. That’s all I can say, my country is most important to me, like they say you are not a Hindu, you are not a Muslim, you are not a Christian, you’re an Indian. So my country comes first.”

The first song, Rang Laal from the film Force 2 which released yesterday is a salute to the unsung martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

Force 2 that stars Sonakshi Sinha along with John Abraham is a sequel to the 2011 released film Force. The movie is all set to hit the screens on November 18, 2016.
