Box Office: Sachin: A Billion Dreams First Day Business

Sachin: A billion dreams, written and directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka has released at the Box Office.

The living legend Sachin Tendulkar is not just a name, it is an emotion in itself and its great to see how the world connects to it. Finally, ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ has released on the big screen and the entire nation is eager to witness it. Sachin: A Billion Dreams was one of the most anticipated movies of the year and fans could not hold the excitement to watch the film. The film showcases the personal life of the cricketer like never before and audience reaction has already proved it that the film has hit the right chord.

Sachin-A Billion Dreams had taken a good opening of 30-35% at the Box Office in the morning shows. The film has taken an extremely good start on its first day in comparison to other biopic films. The much talked about film has collected around Rs 7 crore (70 million) nett approx. (Hindi version) on its first day, which is pretty good. No other documentary film has ever received this kind of opening in the history of Indian Cinema.

The film has released in few other languages including Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and English. The overall business of the film should take the collection to Rs 8 crore nett approx. or maybe little higher.

On the other hand, Hollywood release, Pirate Of The Caribbean  – Salazar’s Revenge has earned pretty well on its first day. The film has collected around 4.25 crore nett (42.5 million) on day one in all languages. Pirate Of The Caribbean has received third best opening for Hollywood in India after Fast & Furious 8 and XXX – Return On Xander Cage.
