‘Pink’ is assumed to have a strong plot and the reviews until now have been very positive. The film will do well because of strong word of mouth publicity. Due to its serious genre, the film lacked in grabbing the attention of the masses. ‘Pink’ is a film for the elite and might not do too well in the single screens where ‘Raaz Reboot’ might attract the chunk of audiences.
The Amitabh Bachchan starrer has earned the opening of 15% at the box office on its first day. The opening is similar to that of ‘Te3n’ but is lower than ‘Wazir’.
Emraan Hashmi’s horror flick ‘Raaz Reboot’ was low in its marketing this time. The previous films also had a few hit songs and the movies did above average business too. The opening of the fourth part is not very high with 20%. Nevertheless, the film has done well in the single screens and its major chunk of the audience is from the same which will prove to be beneficial for the film’s total.
