Makers of Baar Baar Dekho did a great job in promoting the film but it seems the film could not impress the audience in the theatres on the day of the release. Baar Baar Dekho has a low first-day collection of around Rs. 6.75 crore net approx (Rs 67 million). The opening of the film was impressive at multiplexes in the big cities but did not really pick up to give it a decent first day total in comparison to the last releases. It remains to see if Baar Baar Dekho can show good growth during the weekend.
On the other hand, Freaky Ali fared poorly on the day of the release with a business of Rs. 1.75 crore nett approx (Rs 17 million). The film is solely dependent on the word of mouth and content. If the content works out, the film might show a bit growth during the weekend and will at least have some chances to recover the cost.
