[tps_footer]Vidya Balan’s latest release Bobby Jasoos has made a special place in the audience’s heart but despite all this, the film has done average business at the Box Office.
Bobby Jasoos has managed to collect approximately Rs 97.2 million (Rs 9.72 crore) nett at the Indian Box Office till date.
Word of mouth publicity has helped the drama to attract audiences, but still the makes of the film shall end up losing money.
One expected Bobby Jasoos to do well, courtesy it’s novel content and power-packed performances, but then the result has been otherwise.
Producer Dia Mirza is enthused by the audiences warm response and she believes that word of mouth publicity will help the film reach a wider audience. Dia says, “It’s heartening to feel the love of the audiences and the critics alike. Everybody who has seen the film believes that it will do well! It appears that they have taken it upon themselves to make sure it does well which is why the numbers are holding up on a Tuesday. We have believed in this complete family entertainer, knowing it may not give us instant results, but a slow flame lasts longer.”
“We didn’t get a flying start and we didn’t even expect one but I’m optimistic that the film will be watched by more people in the theater and good word of mouth will contribute to steady Box-Office collections,” adds Sahil Sangha
On the other hand, Lekar Hum Deewana Dil has proved to be a disaster and has managed to collect only Rs 12.5 million (Rs 1.25 crore) nett at the Indian Box Office.
