Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya witnessed a dull first-day collection of Rs. 1.75 crore nett approx  (17.5 million). The film was expected to do better in North but unfortunately, the film failed to pull out crowd there. The Saturday should give a good growth to the film to mint a decent collection by the end of the weekend. The collection of Mirzya can be compared to films like Madaari, Freaky Ali .

Despite a lot of buzz around the film, Mirzya could not create the same impact at the theatres. It remains to see if the film can pull out crowd during the weekend or no. Mirzya marked the launch of Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan.
