Box Office: Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho Receives Dull Occupancy Rate On Day One

Miss-TanakpurToday, three films hit the silver screen, one among them is Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho. The Indian political comedy satire film opened to a really poor start at the Box Office. Directed by Vinod Kapri, the film couldn’t pull the audiences in theatres and saw occupancy rate of 15-25% approx.., which is really very dull. One of the reasons why film received such poor reaction at the Box Office could be the fact that it has no star value in it. However, the small budget film will most likely do a somewhat decent business solely based on word of mouth.

Miss Tanakpur Haazi Ho, which stars Annu Kapoor, Om Puri and Ravi Kishan, tells a story of a man who is accused of sexually assaulting a buffalo and then is asked to marry it. Even after being promoted comparatively good, the film’s first day occupancy rate at the Box Office fails to impress us. With this, we can easily expect the film to mint Rs. 1.5 to 3 crore approx. on its first day at the Box Office. One of the main reasons behind film’s poor first day run could be the fact that it has been banned from a few centers due to its controversial plot. The film is a decent Bollywood entertainer. Director Vinod Kapri’s Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho is receiving mixed reactions from the audiences.

Compared to parts like Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune, the film is doing quite good in circuits like Delhi, UP and Gurgaon. Even though film’s trailer created quite a massive reaction on the internet, the reaction that it is receiving at the Box Office is quite dull. However, the exact numbers that the film succeeds in bringing in on its first day at the Box Office will be revealed tomorrow. For now, we wait.
