The Punjabi film Sardaar Ji 2 continued with huge numbers on its second day as it collected a little under 3 crore nett across India. On the first day, the film collected Rs 5.50 crore net approx( 55 million). On the second day, it collected Rs 5.75 crore net approx.(57 million). The business of the film in East Punjab is 2.06 crore nett on day one and 2.12 crore nett on the second day.
Raman Raghav 2.0 and Junooniyat remained poor at the box office on Saturday with the growth being nothing like it should be for films starting as they did. On the first day, the film collected Rs 90 Lakh, on second-day film collected Rs 1.30 crore (Rs 13 million) net approx. The total collection is Rs 2.20 crore net approx (Rs 22 million)
While Junooniyat collected Rs 55 Lakh on day one. On the second day, the film collected Rs 70 Lakh. The total collection is Rs 1.25 crore net approx (Rs 12 million)
The Hollywood film Independence Day-Resurgence did not do well on Saturday. The first-day film collected Rs 3.75 crore nett (37 million) and day two was around 4.75 crore nett (47 million) giving it 8.50 crore nett (85 million) in two days. [/tps_footer]
