Box Office: Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut’s Rangoon Continues Disastrous Run On Its First Tuesday!

Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan’s Rangoon has failed at the Box Office.

Director Vishal Bhardwaj’s much-talked about period drama Rangoon starring Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, and Saif Ali Khan, was one of the most-anticipated films of the year. The film which opened to a mixed response from the audience as well as from the critics has been performing below expectations at the Box Office since day 1.

After opening to a poor start at the box office, Rangoon has continued to be in a tough spot. The film has continued its disaster run on Tuesday.

Rangoon has collected Rs 1.25 crore nett approx on its first Tuesday and has struggled to touch around Rs 17 crore mark in 5 days. The first week of the film is expected to end at around Rs 19-19.25 crore nett. Going by the poor collections, Rangoon’s business seems to be even less than Aditya-Shraddha Kapoor starrer OK Jaanu.

The film was high on promotions, but the same could not result best in terms of the collection at the Box Office. Well, Rangoon is clear first flop film of the year and has turned out to be total unexpected at the Box Office. Though the film was being heard and talked about everywhere, Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon could not create wonders at the Box Office.

The film has collected a total of around Rs 17 crore net approx.
