Here is the text of his poem:
“Our feet uncarpets, their boots unwrapped;
Our nights blissful, their’s stressful,
It’s our life to live, because it’s their’s to give
The heroes should not remain unsung, because we can’t imagine their plight;
Our country goes stronger and boulder because their’s is the fight;
The fight of a soldier”
The video clip was shared by Shah Rukh Khan on the micro-blogging site twitter as a part of #Sandesh2Soldiers initiative. The initiative was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. King Khan’s caption read, “Wishing everyone a Happy Diwali. May the Festival of Lights bring with it brightness and goodness in all our lives. Be safe and enjoy.”

The initiative was started because of the tension between the two countries where Pakistan fired Indian soldiers at the border. The poem recited by King Khan is surely worth and this is a very sweet gesture made by him towards the Indian soldiers.
