[tps_footer] After the success of The Jungle Book almost globally, Disney is ready to bowl us over with their next live action film based on one of our favourite fairytale romances, Beauty and The Beast. How cute is that ?
The beautiful and enchanting Emma Watson (Hermione Granger for all you Potter nerds!) will be playing the beauty, while Downtown Abbey’s Dan Stevens will be playing the Beast.
The film also stars an extremely talented cast in the form of Luke Evans, Emma Thompson, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Kevin Kline, Josh Gad and Stanley Tucci. This one is definitely on our To-do list. What about you peeps ?
In case you cannot recall this pretty fairy tale, it’s about a pretty girl who is forced to stay in a castle that is owned by an ugly beast. This beast was once a handsome prince who was cursed to and hence turned into an ugly being, while his servants were cursed and became cups, saucers, lamps and other inanimate objects. As the story progresses, both of them fall in love with each other and this love is enough to break the curse. Awwww! *brings out the tissue*
The first trailer of the film is out and goes without saying it doesn’t reveal much in terms of the scenery, except showing how the Beast’s castle is getting decrepit. Though we are fortunate enough to get a glimpse of Emma Watson. Ah! Such a breath of fresh air.
