MUMBAI: Bollywood’s veteran actor Anupam Kher who recently launched his first book with a motivational title called ‘The Best Thing About You Is You’ received praise from the very talented Novelist Jeffrey Archer.
Kher met the noted writer in Dubai where he had gone to attend the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature. Jeffrey Archer, Dan Rather, Shashi Tharoor, Ian Rankin, Shohbaa De, Ken Hom, Antony Beevor, Artemis Cooper, Anthony Horowitz were some of the popular authors seen attending the event.
Jeffrey Archer instantly recognized Anupam Kher after having watched the Oscar nominated Hollywood film ‘Silver Linings Playbook’. Sources tell us that both the talented men broke into a conversation and spoke about Indian Cinema as well as Indian food.
Says the source, “He (Jeffrey) liked the title of Anupam Kher’s book “The Best Thing About You Is You”. He not only signed the book for him he also told him to keep in touch.”
Jeffrey Archer, a former politician, has at 72 written a wide range of books and sold more than 250 million copies worldwide.
