While any divorce is a sad event, the fact that the couple was married for a mere 15 months before deciding to call it quits makes it even more depressing. Well, speculations and rumor suggest that the main reason the two have decided to call it quits was that Heard wanted to have a baby, but Depp was not comfortable with the idea. While Depp was open to adoption of an older child, it still would not have been enough for either one of them since they are both known to be stubborn, strong willed individuals.
Just when we thought the worst was over, Amber Heard has reportedly filed for a restraining order against Johnny Depp as a follow up to their divorce papers. According to reports, the actress showed up to court with bruises surrounding her eyes that were apparently inflicted as a result from violence on Depp’s part. Accompanied by her lawyer, Heard produced pictures of various bruises on her body from when she was married. Amber also went so far as to claim that she was tried to be shut up by being offered a huge bribe from her soon to be ex-husband.
However, she decided to go ahead with a divorce and on Monday morning submitted the application for the same accompanied with a temporary restraining order against the actor. Depp did not personally come to court but was represented by a lawyer. He is currently occupied with the promotions of his next film, ‘Alice Through The Looking Glass’.[/tps_footer]
