La La Land – By far, this already released film has caught the most criticism. It was released in 2016, an American musical rom-com drama film written and directed by Damien Chazelle, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. I’m about a struggling jazz pianist who falls in love with an aspiring actress. The truth of life, in the end, is hat left us all breathless. Though the characters had chemistry, they fell apart and moved on with their lives, only to stumble upon each other five years later, realizing how they grew. Mia, a role played by Emma, had married someone else and had a daughter, while Sebastian, Ryan Gosling started his own club, where they met. He played their love theme leading to a dream sequence, which is a ‘what if’ their relationship had worked out perfectly. The film has not only embraced the criticism really well but also has been nominated for, ‘Best Picture’, ‘Best Actress’, ‘Best Actor’, ‘ Best Original Screenplay’, ‘Best Original Score’, ‘ Best Original Song’ to ‘ The Fools Who Dream’, ‘Best Sound Editing, ‘Best Sound Mixing’, ‘ Best Production Design, ‘ Best Cinematography’ , ‘ Best Film Editing’, ‘ Best Costume Design’.
