Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan films go cellular

MUMBAI: Provider of mobile video programming, CinemaElectric, Inc. has inked a deal with Singa Home Entertainment to license their library of unique Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan videos and rare interviews for distribution to carriers and service providers worldwide.


 


The Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan footage will be seen on Smashbrain, CinemaElectric’s men’s lifestyle network, featuring extreme sports and ringside fighting action, new games and gadgets, poker tips and Vegas lifestyle, stand-up and viral comedy, as well as Smashbrain Girls of the Month.


 


The deal includes use of classic fight scenes from more than a dozen films including Fists of Fury from Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan’s Master with Cracked Fists and Rumble in Hong Kong. The films span the 1970s and also include documentaries with rarely seen interviews with each of the world renowned martial arts icons. The content will be also be available for distribution across multiple platforms including broadband and video on demand.
