Michael Douglas and wife Catherine Zeta- Jones are buying a house in the Balkans to add to their luxury properties in New York City, Los Angeles, Bermuda, Mallorca, Aspen and Wales.
The golden couple are currently house-hunting in Montenegro – in the former Yugoslavia – and are reportedly seeking the advice of Pairs-educated architect and heir to the country’s throne Crown Prince Nicholas.
The Ocean’s Twelve actress says, “Like people collect art, we collect homes. We love architecture. It’s like a passion.” A source tells British newspaper the Daily Express, “The Crown Prince is helping to turn the area, which is full of baroque palaces and castles, into the next Monaco. As well as the Douglases, he is thought to be talking to the Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.”
