MUMBAI: Hollywood writer and producer Steven Feinberg will be promoting filmmaking in Rhode Island at a forum co-hosted with George T Marshall, CEO and director of the Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF) and Jonathan Raben, producer and director of the documentary film, Italian Americans and Federal Hill.
The theme of the lecture/discussions will be “Filmmaking Magic in Rhode Island.”. The program is designed to be of interest to filmmakers and the general public. Special guests and personalities from the film industry are also expected to attend.
“I am really excited about the groundswell in filmmaking occurring in Rhode Island,” said Raben. “The digital age is here and it has opened up an inexpensive and easier way for people to get involved in filmmaking and Rhode Island is a great place to make films. The event will be a networking opportunity for filmmakers, students or anyone interested in film.”
The event is open to the public and will be held at Borders Books and Music, Garden City, 190 Hillside Rd., Cranston Rhode Island on Friday, 9 March.
