Lionsgate appoints Lisa Ellzey as EVP

Mumbai: Lionsgate has appointed Lisa Ellzey as executive vice president of Motion Picture Production. An award-winning producer, Ellzey most recently served as Twentieth Century Fox production EVP. The announcement was made by Lionsgate Motion Picture Production president Mike Paseornek to whom Ellzey will report.

Motion Picture Production senior vice president John Sacchi will continue to report to Paseornek.

Said Paseornek, "These are exciting times for Lionsgate, and Ellzey is precisely the person we need on our team as we broaden the scope of our motion picture offerings. Her talent and fantastic network of creative relationships will give us access to major opportunities as we take Lionsgate to the next level and beyond."

Said Ellzey, "I’m thrilled to be joining Lionsgate, which I think has one of the sharpest motion picture production units in the business. I’m very much looking forward to working with Mike and the entire group to further advance Lionsgate as a bastion of diverse, appealing and dynamic movies."

Ellzey arrives at Lionsgate as Paseornek and other members of the company’s senior management team continue to accelerate its business as a next-generation filmed entertainment company.
