MAVTV inks movie-licensing deal with Sony Pictures Television

MUMBAI: MAVTV has inked a licensing deal with Sony Pictures Television that will integrate a slate of Hollywood theatrical movies into MAVTV’s program schedule.

 

MAVTV has selected films from the Sony Pictures library that will resonate with its audience including titles like Escape from New York and Casualties of War.

 

"MAVTV is committed to bringing new and illuminating content for its viewers and it gives us great pleasure to work with Sony Pictures Television on this theatrical film licensing deal. Not only will these films strengthen our already established programming schedule, but will help MAVTV expand and adapt to an increasingly evolving television market," said MAVTV president and COO Steve Smith.

 

MAVTV’s licensing deal with Sony Pictures Television will contribute to the growth of MavTV’s scripted content offerings, and help solidify the network’s brand image as TV’s HD destination for men.
