MUMBAI: Reel Entertainment LLC has recently opened a multiplex theatre in The Dubai Mall. The new Reel Cinemas offers specialized cinema concepts like four ultra-luxurious Platinum Movie Suites and UAE’s first art-house hall The Picturehouse that is exclusively reserved for critically acclaimed movies.
The projection booths of the Reel Cinemas features a total of 32 Kinoton FP 50 A film projectors and 22 ST 200 M non-rewind systems, with ten projectors to be used for change-over operation and as backup devices.
The complete film technology has been installed by Kinoton Korea. Ten halls started operations in August and now the 12 auditoria in the upper story has been opened from 12 November with a special premiere show of the film 2012.
