Warner/Chappell Music extends co-publishing agreement with Claude Kelly

MUMBAI: Warner/Chappell Music has extended its worldwide co-publishing agreement with songwriter, Claude Kelly.

 

As part of the agreement, Warner/Chappell Music will continue to co-publish on a worldwide basis all of Kelly’s future compositions, as well as his catalog of past work, including his shares of the hit songs Party in the USA, Circus, and My Life Would Suck Without You as well as the current single, In My Head.

 

Warner/Chappell Music president and Warner/Chappell Music US chairman and CEO Scott Francis said, "Claude is an extraordinary talent who has, in just a few years, turned into one of the industry’s go-to songwriters. His versatility is a terrific complement to our goal of taking talented songwriters and helping them branch out across different genres of music. We are thrilled to have Claude on the Warner/Chappell roster and look forward to helping him add to his already impressive success."

Over the course of his career, Kelly has written and/or co-written hundreds of songs and tracks across genres for a number of hit performers, including Christina Aguilera, Akon, Backstreet Boys, Brandy, Toni Braxton, Melanie Fiona, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, Ke$ha, Adam Lambert, Leona Lewis, Chrisette Michele, Jay Sean, and Jordin Sparks, among others.
