Weinstein acquires Walk All Over Me

MUMBAI: The Weinstein Company has acquired US rights to the thriller Walk All Over Me from IndustryWorks Distribution.


Directed by Robert Cuffley and co-starring Golden-Globe nominee Leelee Sobieski and Tricia Helfer, the film recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and received critical acclaim from viewers and film industry insiders alike. TWC will distribute Walk All Over Me on DVD through Genius Products, their exclusive home video distributor.

With its obvious commercial appeal, we look forward to a great success in the closing the remaining territories at both MIPCOM and the upcoming American Film Market,” said IndustryWorks president and founder Evan Tylor.


A CHAOS a film company production, Walk All Over Me is a coming-of-age crime thriller about a small-town girl, Alberta (Sobieski), who runs into big-time trouble as she assumes the dominatrix identity of her roommate Celene (Helfer) to pay the bills. The stellar cast also includes Canadian Genie Award-winner Lothaire Bluteau (Jesus of Montreal) as the ruthless mob leader, looking to recover his stolen money. Robert Cuffley (Turning Paige) director of the feature co-wrote the script with Jason Long.


IndustryWorks Distribution, a wholly owned subsidiary of Evolution Pictures based in Vancouver, is the world sales agent for Walk All Over Me.
