MUMBAI: Lee Solomon has been named chief operating officer of The Weinstein Company. This was announced by company co-chairmen Bob and Harvey Weinstein.
Using his experience in entertainment finance, negotiations, acquisitions, and global content distribution, Solomon will serve as a key strategic architect, overseeing all operational and financial aspects of the company, with the specific mandate of continuing to build up the company’s multitiered success since its inception two years ago.
Specifically, Solomon will advise and direct the Company in its investments and priorities related to movies, television, emerging technologies and other new business ventures. He will work from The Weinstein Company’s offices in New York City and will report directly to Bob and Harvey Weinstein.
