MUMBAI: The Pussycat Dolls have teamed up with two time Oscar winner AR Rahman for an English interpretation of the song Jai Ho from Oscar winner for Best Picture Slumdog Millionaire.
Rahman and Pussycat Dolls’ English version of Jai Ho will feature Nicole Scherzinger and will be called You Are My Destiny. Rahman tied up with Interscope Records CEO Jimmy Iovine to make a remix for the Oscar winning song Jai Ho with the lead singer of Pussycat Dolls Nicole Scherzinger.
Producer Ron Fair produced the lead vocals for Nicole Scherzinger, whose voice blends with that of Rahman.
Slumdog Millionaire directed by Danny Boyle won eight Oscars including two for Rahman.
