MUMBAI: Music Composer Bappi Lahiri will be part of the jury for the 2012 Grammy Awards. He has  become the first Indiancomposer to be in the Grammy jury.

Lahiri had also sent in his album World, Peace And harmony, this year for the awards. The album got him a spot in the top 50 Grammy albums but, however, lost out on the main five nominations. 

The Grammy Awards 2011, will be presented on 13 February  at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
