Farhan Akhtar said, "As the name suggest ‘Rock On for Humanity’ is an attempt to bridge the gap through the power of music. Ritesh, Arjun and I strongly believe that music is what binds us together. It’s a great opportunity to bring people under one umbrella to help the unfortunate. Numerous children have lost their homes, parents, and as human beings it’s our responsibility to make sure that they get all the love and care they deserve."

Excel Entertainment’s Ritesh Sidhwani added, "Children are always special and they make our lives even more special. I do hope with this effort of ours we are able to bring back the lost hope for these children who have been affected by this calamity. I would like to request each and every one to be part of this endeavor of ours."

"My heart goes out for all those people who have lost everything in this untimely catastrophe, I can never imagine what those small children, who survived but lost their families in this incident are going through. ‘Rock On for Humanity’ is an effort from our side to bring a smile on these children’s faces and work towards a better future for them. We just hope that each and every one supports us in our humble efforts to make this cause a huge success," added Rampal.

Priya Dutt too lent her support to the cause. "This initiative taken by Farhan, Ritesh and Arjun is a very strong way to voice one support for a cause which needs support from as many people as possible. We at the Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust feel honored to be associated with cause so noble and lend all our support to it," Dutt said.
