Mumbai: The music of Singh Is Kinng was released on Thursday night at an event that was attended by Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan.
Katrina Kaif, Sonu Sood, Neha Dhupia, Javed Jaafrey, director Anees Baazmee, producer Vipul Shah and singers Daler Mehndi, Mika and Hard Kaur were present from the cast and crew of the film.
While Bachchan came in early to have a dekkho at the songs, Khan came in later to release the music of the film.
The music is available on Junglee Music and will hit the stores by this weekend. This deal has been touted to be the highest ever in the music world pegged at a price of Rs 135 million (Rs 13.5 crores), which includes acquisition and marketing costs.
British-Asian band RDB and legendary rapper Snoop Dogg’s songs are already part of the film’s title track. Now, two international DJs- Jay Dabhi, South-Asian DJ in North America and Glasgow-based brothers Raj and Pops have been roped in for remix versions of three tracks.
