MUMBAI: Veteran singer Usha Uthup wished Team India the best for the World Cup by signing on an 18 feet long ‘CEAT Cricket Ratings Billion Man Bat’ at the Inorbit Mall in Mumbai on Friday.
Uthup, who has sung the song Wicket Bacha in the forthcoming film Hattrick, also performed on the occasion. The giant bat, inaugurated with a signature by veteran cricketer Sunil Gavaskar in Mumbai, will be taken on an India Tour to various cities gathering signatures from cricket fans from across India.
The CEAT Float will be accompanied by Indipop singer Rabbi Shergill as well as Usha Uthup and Bangla Band Bhoomi, who will perform at key cities.
