Our Top 8 baking tips that will help you make the yummiest cupcakes at home! Baking from scratch doesn’t have to be intimidating or difficult. Chef Priyanka reveals her trade secrets for baking light and fluffy cupcake layers, using simple tricks and tips!

Recipe for Vanilla Cupcakes with Eggs
--Ingredients:
250 gms All-purpose flour/ maida
250 gms Castor sugar
½ tsp Baking soda
1tsp Baking powder
250 gms Butter
4 Eggs
1tsp Vanilla
3 Tbsp Milk
--Procedure:
- Preheat the oven to 170 C.
- Sift APF + Sugar+ BS + BP
- Add butter & eggs, beat for 60 seconds
- Stir in vanilla in the milk and then add that to the butter & maida mixture
- Mix it just to combine- 20 seconds
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl and give a final mix for 30 seconds.
- Fill it into the baking liners and bake for 20 minutes or until they spring back when touched.
- Leave to cool, transferring to wire cooling rack after 5 minutes.
Recipe for Eggless Vanilla Cupcakes:
--Ingredients:
3/4 cup yogurt
2/3 cup powdered sugar
2/3 cup oil
1 cup flour/maida
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
a pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp water
--Method:
- First, take a bowl and add curd and powdered sugar
- Mix it well
- Now add oil, flour/maida, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and mix it well.
- Add vanilla essence and water
mix it well until you get a creamy texture
- Add it to the baking tray
- Bake at 180°C/356°F for 15-17 minutes

If Your Car Suddenly Breaks Down, Don’t Touch Your Windows
What to do you do if your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere? Imagine you’re driving along an interstate highway in the desert, far from any civilization. It’s midnight. The road is dark, and only your headlights give you some picture of what’s ahead. You haven’t slept for hours now, and you feel exhausted. Suddenly, your car jerks, there’s a loud thud from somewhere inside, and the engine stops working. Your car is just rolling down the road.
First thing you should do is check your cell reception. If there is, call the tow service — they’ll reach you and take both you and your car to the nearest town where you can get it repaired. But even if there’s no reception, you should still call the emergency services — your phone might be able to pick up the signal and you’ll at least make your situation known. After that, go outside and open the hood to let the smoke out. Okay, what to do next? How to handle a car breakdown on the interstate?
