[tps_footer]Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is a story of Kavya Pratap Singh (Alia Bhatt) the bride to be who goes on a wedding shopping trip, meets Humpty Sharma (Varun Dhawan) and finds the love she has been looking for. An already engaged pretty girl, Kavya leaves her home to find a perfect wedding designer lehnga but returns with a perfect life partner for herself. Just because her elder sister had an unsuccessful love marriage, Kavya‘s father wants her to get married to a guy of his choice. Against all odds, Humpty is determined to convince Mr. Singh; Kavya’s father (Ashutosh Rana) and in the end all’s well that ends well.
The music of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is not something that one can hear over and over again but Saturday Saturday is fun. Also Main Tenu Samjhawa Ki lends it’s power to the scenes, although we wish the makes should have retained the original voice.
Coming to the cast, Ashutosh Rana, Gaurav Pandey, Sahil Vaid and Siddharth Shukla fit the bill, though they have nothing much to do. Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are very lovable and cute and make a great on screen pair.
Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is a feel good entertainer, but lacks substance. Had it not been for Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, one would not have been able to sit through Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
