[tps_footer]Sreesanth is contestant number five to be evicted from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7. Yes, Sreesanth’s journey on the floor of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 has come to an end.
Sreesanth, received the lowest number of votes which has resulted in his ouster from the show. Sreesanth and his partner, Shena could not impress the judges and of course the audiences, which is quite evident from his elimination. Although his stint in this dance reality show will indeed be something which we can’t forget.
Off what we have got to know, Sreesanth has been bonding with his co-contestant, Puja Banerjee. It is said that Puja Banerjee has become friends with Sreesanth’s wife. Sreesanth and the two have been spending a lot of time with each other.
Sreesanth, who has been banned from cricket for life for spot-fixing in the IPL, took everyone by surprise when he agreed to be a part of this season of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7.
“I am looking at the other side of my life which is arts. I am spending almost ten to twelve hours with my music and band. I have signed a Tamil-Telugu movie Anbulla Azhage, for which I will start shooting from October 03, 2014.” stated Sreesanth.
Sreesanth was banned from playing cricket by the BCCI for his involvement in spot-fixing in the 2013 IPL season. He admits that he misses the game, but has found ways to keep in touch with it.
“Absolutely! I miss cricket! Thankfully, I kept in touch with the game. Because of the ban, I am not allowed to be involved in activities of BCCI, but I do manage to train at the BPCL ground in Kochi and on a private ground. Thanks to everyone back at Kochi from media to celebs to my fans and family, I also played ten to twelve celebrity matches. Back home people have really supported, motivated and encouraged me.” adds Sreesanth.
“It’s been an amazing journey at Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. I completed five weeks and the competition has reached a level wherein wild card entries have started. I, personally had no idea that I would go so far in the competition. I was very optimistic in the beginning since I knew a bit of dancing, but this competition is on a different level altogether. I didn’t know that there were so many types of dance forms. Now everyday I am learning a new dance form. I am enjoying it and at the same time I am learning a lot.” Sreesanth said just prior to the face-off round.
In the mean while, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 has been the worst season so far in terms of ratings and the word of mouth. Even the wild card entries are just ENTRIES as there is nothing WILD about them.
We do hope that the makers get it right the next season, cause this season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 is just not happening. [/tps_footer]
