Firstly, Rs 20 Lakh offer is introduced to the housemates in order to recover the amount that they had lost from the winning amount of Rs 50 Lakh during the luggage task. The winning amount dropped from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 39,66667 during the ‘Nilami task’ where they had got a chance to get luggage in return.
But now it’s time to get that money back. How? We exclusively reveal that Bigg Boss introduced a task where 8 gunny bags for 8 contestants were kept in Bigg Boss 9 house. Rochelle Rao, Mandana Karimi, Rishabh Sinha, Kawaljit Singh, Suyyash Rai, Kishwer Merchant, Prince Narula and Rimi Sen were given each gunny bag with a long rope attached to hold.
As Digangana is severely not well, she was not allowed to be a part of the task and new wild card contestants Priya Malik who is the captain of the house, became the moderator of the task.
All the 8 contestants were asked to hold the rope of their respective gunny bag with no harassment from anyone. Interestingly, the contestants were not told that the gunny bag consisted of Rs 20 Lakh or some amount.
