It’s Aamir Khan! Aamir Khan has been avoiding award functions since that fateful award show and usually even refrains from going for chat shows.
Aamir Khan, had appeared on the previous season of the show along with wife filmmaker Kiran Rao. And even Aamir could not keep himself away from it.
Lately, he was quizzed on appearing in the current season, he said, “I would definitely want to go to ‘Koffee With Karan’ but he is not calling me. Please ask Karan (Johar) to invite me.”
Seems like his wish did come true. After hearing the wishes of Mr. perfectionist, the host of the show, Karan Johar was more than happy to oblige. It seems he is going to make a solo appearance on the show. It has been reported that Aamir will only share the couch with for a short segment with his Dangal co-stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, who play his on-screen daughters.
The episode with Aamir will air five days before the release of Dangal and after the episode with three Khan brothers — Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail which marks the 100th episode of the season.
Among other episodes that have been shot but remain to be scheduled are the ones with Kareena Kapoor Khan-Sonam Kapoor, Kapil Sharma, Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput and Sania Mirza-Farah Khan.
